About Sizing Urns

Choosing the right size is simpler than it may seem, and we want to make this as easy as possible during what we know is a difficult time.

As a gentle guide, the right size generally corresponds to your loved one's weight at the time of passing — so someone who weighed 150 pounds would typically be suited to a size 150. While this isn't an exact science, it works comfortably in nearly all cases.

Some families also find comfort in sharing their loved one's remains across more than one vessel — whether to keep in different homes or to honor different relationships. If that feels right to you, simply add the sizes together. A size 72 and a size 85, for example, would together hold the remains of someone up to 157 pounds.

Whatever you choose, we're here to help you find exactly what feels right.
